@CT Family Support Worker
Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting young people aged 10-18 years to reduce the risk of exploitation and helping families recognize and mitigate these risks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 support to young people to prevent exploitation.
- Supporting families in understanding and reducing risks.
- Collaborating with agencies to strengthen family networks for sustainable change.
- Capturing and utilizing the voices of children and young people to improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Own vehicle due to role nature.
- Availability to work part of a weekend rota.
- Strong workload management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and partnership-building abilities.
- Passion, flexibility, and high-quality service commitment.
- Confidence in safeguarding procedures.
