We are recruiting 6 Weekend Youth Support Workers to join our team in Children's Residential Care Homes. We offer opportunities for individuals who may not have the relevant qualifications and experience, as we have a dedicated training department to support your development. We believe that some of the best support workers are those with life experience and a desire to work within the care sector.

You will work with young people aged 11 to 21 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse needs and behaviours. We seek individuals who are confident, understanding, patient, and skilled to make a positive impact on their lives.

This role involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults in residential, educational, or independent living settings, creating a safe environment that addresses their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

You will support service users throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping. Please note, this position does not require personal care.

We are looking for positive role models who are flexible, reliable, and interactive, eager to work in a specialist environment. Full accredited training and qualifications, including Team Teach, Child Protection, St Johns Ambulance First Aid, Understanding Sexualised Behaviour, Working with Self Harm, Cyberbullying, and Understanding Autism and ADHD, will be provided.

Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check or provide a portable DBS, and successfully complete our induction program prior to placements, unless already on the new national DBS database.
