We are recruiting for an experienced 7.5 tonne tipper Driver for an established construction company in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Salary: GBP15.50 per hour depending on experience (PAYE) / GBP19.00 per hour depending on experience (CIS PAYE / Umbrella)

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5.30pm

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Tipper Driver to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of materials and equipment to and from construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 7.5 tonne tipper vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company procedures.
  • Deliver and collect materials such as aggregates, spoil, and small plant equipment to construction sites.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the tipper is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
  • Ensure all loads are safely secured and transported in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork, job tickets, and timesheets.
  • Liaise with site staff, clients, and dispatchers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with basic maintenance and safety checks on plant equipment when required.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times, both on and off-site.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 or C entitlement (7.5 tonne or HGV 2).
  • Driver CPC qualification and valid Digi Tacho card.
  • Proven experience driving tipper or similar vehicles, preferably within the construction or plant hire sector.
  • Good knowledge of local roads and sites across Dorset and the South Coast.
  • A strong understanding of load securing, weight distribution, and vehicle safety.
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience transporting small plant or equipment.
