Title: Accountant
Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (part time/flexible working considered)
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience/qualifications)

Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients across sectors.
- Dealing with any discrepancies and liaising with clients to obtain relevant information.
- Working within strict deadlines for statutory submissions.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with current tax laws.
- Analyse financial information to identify potential tax savings and advise clients on financial planning strategies.
- Utilise various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other financial accounting tools, to maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain up to date knowledge including any changes in accounting and tax legislation and financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
- Advise clients on best practice to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous statutory accounts and tax preparation experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively and identify variances.
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work.
