Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) / Board Level Sales Director Location: Remote first (as required only in the office) – offices across the North of England in Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. Following significant investment, they are entering an exciting phase where they are looking to scale the business. This is a rare opportunity to join an established business with financial backing in a position that has significant impact on the future shape of the organisation. The role: We are seeking an accomplished Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join the board and lead the revenue growth strategy. This pivotal role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The CRO will work closely with the board to define and implement the go-to-market strategy whilst also driving performance across sales and marketing teams. Key responsibilities: Strategy Development: Collaborate with the board to craft and implement an ambitious go-to-market strategy. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, inspiring them to achieve exceptional results. Customer Acquisition: Take hands-on responsibility for bringing new customers into the business and expanding market presence. Operational Excellence: Oversee sales and marketing operations, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and maximising efficiency. About you: We are looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the Technology Consultancy sector (or a closely related industry). You’ll be confident operating at board level and have the ability to influence strategic decisions whilst also being comfortable rolling up your sleeves to deliver tangible results. Key requirements: Proven experience in a senior revenue-focused role within Technology Consultancy or a similar field. Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales and marketing teams. Ability to define and execute scalable go-to-market strategies. Track record of securing new customers and driving significant revenue growth. Strategic mindset with hands-on capability to execute plans effectively.
