The role

This is a perfect opportunity for any teacher or subject specialist who wants to continue teaching and working with children but without the hassle of planning and marking!

As a cover teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You will adapt teaching materials and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. An important part of the role is managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. You need to provide guidance, assistance, and support to students in their academic and personal development. The school is looking for someone who can collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a smooth transition for students, demonstrate effective communication, and show flexibility and willingness to work across different grade levels and subject areas.

The client is looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting, ideally across multiple key stages.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
