The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major highways drainage project in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of cost management, contracts, and financial control on a high-profile civil engineering scheme.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and financial aspects of highways and drainage works.
- Oversee cost planning, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with NEC contracts (or equivalent forms).
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure commercial success.
- Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
- Lead and mentor junior QS staff
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in highways, civil engineering, or drainage projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Excellent cost management, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (RICS membership desirable).
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
