About Us
Ascot House Intermediate Care Unit supports patients with therapy and rehabilitation goals within a 24-hour setting. We assist with personal care, medications, and therapy plans for individuals recovering from illness or injury. Our aim is to help patients regain confidence and independence, providing them with time and space to achieve their recovery goals and return home.
Our team includes 68 Support Workers, Assistant Practitioners, 4 Senior Support Workers, 4 Deputy Managers, and a Registered Manager. We work as a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers to provide holistic care.
About You

Role Responsibilities
Support Workers assist patients during rehabilitation or assessment phases, helping to build a comprehensive understanding of their needs before discharge. You will work as part of an integrated team, supporting personal care, recording essential information accurately, and helping patients regain mobility and lift their spirits. The goal is to promote independence and empower individuals to make informed choices within their community.
