Graduate Service & Installation Engineer – International Travel – £27,000 – £31,000 + travel allowances + expenses, 25 days holiday + bank increasing with service, death in service benefit of 4 x salary + salary sacrifice pension scheme and share incentive plan. * Are you a graduate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Physics or a similar subject? * Do you have experience of working within an electrical / electronic test, inspection, calibration, assembly, systems build, service engineering or customer support capacity? * Do you have a good all-round understanding of electrical / electronic systems? * Does the thought of regular international travel as part of your job excite you? If so, then this could well be the right role for you so read on……… You will be joining a leading manufacturer of a range of instrumentation used within a niche industry and become a valued member of their test, service and installation team based from their head office in East Grinstead, West Sussex. After an initial training period of 3-6 months learning their instruments and their applications as Graduate Service and Installation Engineer you will be expected to spend between 25% – 50% of your time travelling internationally to customer sites throughout Europe and occasionally to Korea, Taiwan, China, USA and even Australia. Duties will include the final test and inspection of instruments post-production; the on-site installation, training and customer demonstrations on delivered instruments; on-site maintenance and emergency service; hardware and software upgrades and providing telephone and email technical support to customers. You will be qualified to HNC or above in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Physics or similar; be able to demonstrate some commercial experience of working within a systems test, inspection, calibration, assembly, systems build, installation, service or repair engineering capacity and have a good all-round understanding of electrical / electronic systems. Any experience of working with laboratory equipment, vacuum, semiconductor equipment, instrumentation or simulators desirable.
