The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

9am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Term Time Only KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting students with their academic and personal growth by fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment. Assisting teaching and delivery staff in planning and delivering sessions/activities to meet individual learner needs. Promoting independence, equality, diversity and respect. Supporting student progress, both on a group and one to one basis. Supporting students with social skills development. Reporting learner absences to parents/guardians. Updating classroom registers and reporting learner absences to parents/guardians and/or other organisations involved in the students care. Classroom management. Supporting the teaching and delivery staff with preparation of resources. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 18 months experience of supporting teachers/tutors in a classroom environment. Preferably in a secondary school setting. Good communication skills including a minimum grade 4 (or equivalent) in both English and Maths BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES CORE: Good ICT skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Sensitivity and understanding. The ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things. Patience, empathy and a passion in supporting young people.
