We are seeking a hands-on Quant Researcher / Engineer to join as a founding member to build and validate data-driven trading models with real-world market application. Responsibilities Stealth Startup | Remote | Equity + Profit Share We\’re an early-stage, research-driven venture exploring market inefficiencies using historical high-frequency market data. We are seeking a hands-on Quant Researcher / Engineer to join as a founding member to build and validate data-driven trading models with real-world market application. Responsibilities Design and implement quantitative strategies and data models using high-frequency financial data Build a custom backtesting and simulation engine Engineer features and signals from multi-timeframe data Integrate external datasets including macro and event-based indicators Work closely with the founder on research translation into production-ready code Ideal Experience Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, vectorization) Experience with financial data analysis , ideally intraday or tick-level Solid understanding of time-series analysis , signal testing , and statistical modeling Ability to think independently and critically evaluate model robustness Bonus: familiarity with backtesting libraries or FRED API / macro datasets Role & Incentives Founding team position Flexible, remote-first Equity and performance-based profit sharing Ownership over architecture, research direction, and future hiring To Apply Send a short intro, any relevant project links or GitHub, and your availability to collaborate.
