At BPAS, we have an exciting part -time opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Birmingham Central unit working 15 hours per week on Monday and Tuesday
The role
We are looking for someone who by working alongside our Nurses & Midwives will be able provide the best care to our patients.
As a HCA, you will be required to assist with the care, support and observations of the client before & after treatment, and report findings to the Registered Practitioners. You will help check and prepare the clinical environment and equipment prior to use, between clients and at the end of a list., * To assist with the care, support and observations of the client before and after treatment, report findings to the Registered Practitioners.

Help check and prepare the clinical environment and equipment prior to use, between clients and at the end of a list.

Undertake counts of swabs, instruments and needles in conjunction with another trained member of the surgical team, and assist the surgical team.

To have an understanding of clients’ individual needs and to maintain a helpful, courteous approach to clients, visitors and colleagues.
You will have experience working in healthcare especially in a hospital, GP practice or operating theatre setting. With a positive can do attitude you will enjoy working as a part of a team and be passionate about helping and caring for others., * Care certificate in healthcare / NVQ Level 3 in health and social care / Diploma in health and support level 3
