Shirley Parsons is exclusively partnered with a leading waste company, seeking a CDM Safety Advisor for their construction division. This division focuses around large frameworks within the public and commercial sector with a range of operations. Our client is looking for candidates with strong CDM knowledge and understanding. Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be able to work onsite 4/5 days a week and be available for overnight stays.
The CDM Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the responsibility of safety for all contractors, operators and members of the public on and around the construction sites
- Monitor the performance of your sites in order to identify where additional support/actions are required. Escalate any concerns to the Health and Safety Manager
- Support the Safety Team with communication on good practice and lessons learnt such as developing safety alerts and various safety communications such as monthly focus areas, safety updates etc.
- Assist with CDM regulations and advice
The CDM Safety Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate at minimum
- CDM knowledge and practical experience
- Temporary Works experience
- Full UK Working rights
