Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a creative and detail-driven Retail Floor Planner to join their busy head office team in Plymouth.
Plymouth | Monday – Friday, 08:45–17:30 | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for combining design with commercial thinking. You’ll be using AutoCAD to create and maintain store layouts for both new sites and existing branches—making a real impact on how customers experience the shop floor.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing store layouts using AutoCAD for new openings, seasonal changes, and refits
- Working closely with buyers, analysts, and other planners to reflect trading priorities in store layouts
- Ensuring layout plans are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time
- Supporting ongoing plan reviews and updates
- Maintaining records and documentation for all store designs
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in a retail or commercial planning environment
- Confidence using AutoCAD (or similar design software)
- Great attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
