Health and Safety Advisor – Tier 1 Building Contractor Wesy and Wales Excellent Salary + Package Projects up to £100m | Award-Winning Contractor Are you an experienced Health and Safety Advisor looking to join a leading Tier 1 contractor with a strong pipeline of prestigious projects across Wales and the West? Our client is a well-established, award-winning building contractor renowned for delivering high-quality construction and refurbishment projects valued up to £100 million. Operating across a diverse range of sectors, they are now seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support their continued growth across the Wales and West region, reaching as far south as Exeter. The Role: Reporting to the Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and management of health and safety systems across multiple live projects. You’ll work closely with site teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Support and advise site management teams on all aspects of health and safety. * Monitor, review, and improve health and safety performance across multiple projects. * Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. * Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings. * Assist with incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions. * Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reports. About You: * Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor in the construction industry. * NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) essential. * Strong working knowledge of current H&S legislation and construction site requirements. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
