A Teacher of Maths is required for a secondary school in the Northumberland area. You will deliver Maths to Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils. This part-time role will be starting in September 2025 until December 2025, two days a week on Thursdays and Fridays. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Maths Teacher candidate would:

  • Have a passion for teaching Maths
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to engage with children in a proactive way

We are keen to hear from both experienced Maths Teachers or ECTs. To apply for this Maths Teacher position with Premier Teachers, you must hold QTS or QTLS. In addition, you must:

  • Provide two referees we can contact
  • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Pay scales and the level of experience that you have to date.
