We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, conscientious, hard-working HCA or physician's assistant to assist Dr Sharon Belmo at her Harley Street practice. This is a high-end dermatology clinic with a high standard and focus on skin of colour and hair loss. The candidate must have an excellent manner with patients and have good communication skills. This is a part-time role. The candidate must be self-employed.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling patients into clinic room
  • Providing information leaflets
  • Taking patient photos/uploading photos to medical records
  • Ensuring room is tidy between patients
  • Preparing scalp for treatments
  • Assisting surgical and non-surgical procedures
  • Acting as a liaison between medical secretary, clinic premises and Dr Sharon Belmo
  • Helping to keep clinic on time/ensuring smooth running of clinic
  • Clinic prep
  • Stock checking – samples

Qualifications:

  • Excellent manner with patients
  • Organised, proactive and helpful
  • Experience in phlebotomy (desirable)
  • Dermatology experience (desirable)
  • Surgical assistance experience
  • Previous experience as an HCA
  • Private practice experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of the importance of patients’ confidentiality
  • Ward clerk/personal assistant experience (desirable not essential)
