A leading national packaging company based in Gateshead is looking to recruit a reliable and professional HGV2 Driver to join their busy transport team.\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nAs an HGV2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering plastic and cardboard packaging materials to a range of commercial clients across the North East. The HGV2 Driver role involves multiple drops per day, up to 10 per day, and you will be expected to offload the products at customer sites using safe manual handling practices.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n The HGV2 Driver should be able to operate an HGV2 vehicle safely and in accordance with UK driving regulations\\n\\n * \\n\\n Deliver packaging materials to clients around the North East\\n\\n * \\n\\n Offload products upon delivery using appropriate manual handling techniques\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure all paperwork and delivery records are completed accurately\\n\\n * \\n\\n Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Must hold a valid HGV2 Licence\\n\\n * \\n\\n Up-to-date CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card\\n\\n * \\n\\n No more than 9 points on your licence\\n\\n * \\n\\n No Drink Driving (DR) convictions accepted\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to complete an online application form (PC, laptop, or tablet required)\\n\\nWorking Hours and Pay:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Start time: 7:00 AM\\n\\n * \\n\\n Finish time: Around 4:00 PM (subject to route completion)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour (first 8 hours)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Overtime rate: £21.00 per hour (after 8 hours worked Monday to Friday)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Holiday pay is accrued and paid for all hours worked (not rolled into the hourly rate)\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV2 Driver looking for steady weekday work with a reputable and growing company.
