Electrical Design Engineer – Water Treatment Projects Location: Widnes, Cheshire Salary:£42500 Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours/week) Are you a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in water treatment or related industries? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company based in Widnes, known for delivering bespoke gas and liquid chemical dosing systems to the water industry. Join their growing Projects Team and play a vital role in designing and managing innovative engineering solutions across multiple UK-based projects. Key Responsibilities: * Design and deliver high-quality electrical and control systems for chemical dosing applications. * Develop P&IDs, control philosophies, and detailed process calculations. * Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). * Conduct site surveys and attend client meetings to support project delivery. * Maintain client satisfaction by managing expectations and ensuring clear communication. * Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with quality expectations. * Work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements: * Proven experience in electrical design, ideally within the water or wastewater treatment industry. * Strong understanding of engineering standards and project delivery workflows. * Ability to produce detailed technical documentation from concept through to execution. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant design software. * Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach to project work. * Full UK driving licence (for site visits).
