Service Care Solutions are currently working on behalf of a leading provider in the affordable housing sector to recruit an experienced Senior Housing Solicitor. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded in-house legal team at a pivotal time of growth and transformation. Our client manages a substantial portfolio of housing stock across London, East Midlands, Southern and the East of England, delivering essential services to tens of thousands of residents.
ROLE: Senior Housing Solicitor
LOCATION: Nottingham β hybrid
SALARY: Β£55,378 - Β£58,292 DOE and interview performance + benefits
Please note that this position requires office attendance, ideally 3 days per week (this is open to negotiation).
Key responsibilities of the Senior Housing Lawyer role:
- Leading a team of 5 Paralegals across the team
- Managing a caseload of housing management and leasehold disputes.
- Ensuring high-quality legal advice is delivered in line with organisational standards and performance indicators.
The Person:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (FILEX).
- Minimum of 3 yearsβ PQE, ideally gained within social housing, local government, or an in-house RP legal team.
- Demonstrable experience of supervising and developing junior legal staff.
