The Role
We’re currently recruiting a Retail Buyer / Category Manager within our Retail Buying & Merchandising Department to help us take things to the next level.
Focusing specifically on Spurs Mono brand collaborations & limited-edition releases to drive sales, brand awareness & audience growth. Apply a strategic approach to the delivery of these product ranges, building out the appropriate marketing & promotional requirements with the ultimate aim of achieving a commercial & profitable offer.
About You
- Project lead for landing Spurs Mono brand collaborations & limited-edition releases throughout the season
- Own the end-to-end process including concept, product sourcing, supplier selection, critical path management, sample sealing & product launch
- Initiates, on-boards & cultivates relationships with third party stakeholders in this space
- Work with Commercial Marketing & Comms on collection campaign execution & launch plans including attendance on photoshoots, organising looks & arranging samples
- Identifies opportunities for new retail initiatives & projects that resonate with the fanbase by staying up to date on current & emerging trends within culture & football
- Work with Head of Buying & Merchandising to develop a strategic approach for retail brand collaborations & special projects in-line with growth plans
- Arrange with the Buying & License Administrator for P/O creation & ecommerce product photography
- Work closely with Ecommerce to ensure accurate product copy is provided & optimised
- Responsible for QC ensuring garment fits are accurate & products meet safety regulations & standards
- Work with Merchandising on critical paths so they can manage order delivery intake
- Present product sales, intake & new ranges in team meetings & Commercial reviews when required
- Any other tasks that may arise in line with business needs
- Due to the nature of the industry and the role, some out-of-office hours work would be required from time to time including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
What you will bring
- Prior relevant experience managing fashion & lifestyle brand collaborations in a retail setting.
- Extensive experience of working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of co-ordinating third-party brands, suppliers & creatives
- Demonstrate a knowledge of current trends in sports, culture & lifestyle
- Visibly enthusiastic with a passion for football & a knowledge of THFC
- Demonstrate a capacity to work in a fast-paced environment & prioritise workloads
