2D CAD Designer

We\’re supporting our client with the recruitment of a talented 2D Designer to join a thriving, expanding manufacturing company based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business that\’s experiencing significant growth – they\’re planning to double their turnover and workforce over the next two years. You\’ll be designing custom product solutions using CAD software (2D format) for production in their on-site manufacturing facility. Working closely with customers, you\’ll develop design solutions in accordance with agreed design principles and procedures. Your 2D CAD drawings will support customer proposals and help develop new product ranges. The Role in Detail This is a busy, dynamic position, particularly during peak season with overtime, however, this is well-compensated and comes with the satisfaction of being heavily involved in something you\’re passionate about. About You The ideal candidate will have: A mathematical head and engineering mind Strong understanding of functional design and space planning Engineering background or equivalent experience Ability to consider electrical/mechanical factors in design Familiarity with design software and CAD Knowledge of marketing suite design considerations (desirable) An innovative mindset with the ability to deliver That special \”something\” – drive, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit Why Join?
