A Major construction contractor is seeking a Foreman / Site Manager to work on a multi million pound project based in Somerset. As a Foreman / Site Manager you will have a build background and provide supervision of the works and control of a team comprising of Gangers and direct labour force. Supervision and control of the works of Subcontractors throughout the project duration.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide supervision and coordinate the work team
- Allocate daily responsibilities and communicate updates
- Guarantee all safety and quality measures are met throughout the project
- Input into the production of Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments
- Provide suggestions and recommendations for Temporary Works solution
- Identify potential hazards and proactively implement actions and controls
- Monitor the performance of plant operators
- Carry out Safety & Environment Tours
Who we're looking for:
- Proven experience of working as a Foreman
- Experience of Construction/New Build/ Fit Out related project
- CSCS/SSTS/SMSTS Gold Card
- Good health & Safety knowledge
- Tier 1 experience would be beneficial
