The Role

Blackburn College supported internship and pre-supported internship programme supports young people aged 16-24 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to find employment supported by a Job Coach who works alongside the client gradually decreasing the amount of support needed.

  • Experience of working with learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who can demonstrate the skills required to work in a support environment with excellent communication skills.
  • A flexible approach and a willingness to work outside of normal working hours is essential.
