We're looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy individual to join our refurbishment team. This might be your dream job if you enjoy tinkering with hardware, solving IT puzzles, and making old laptops feel new again.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Hardware Refurbishment: Carry out memory and storage upgrades, replace drives, and get your hands inside the machines.
- Operating System Installs: Reinstall Windows 10 and 11, format drives, navigate BIOS settings, and install drivers like a pro.
- Quality Assurance & Dispatch Prep: Test, test, and test again. You’ll be the last line of defence before laptops go out to customers.
- General Troubleshooting: Diagnose common issues — why won’t it boot? Why’s the screen flickering? Where’s the Wi-Fi gone? You’ll help us figure it out.
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience reinstalling operating systems (Windows 10/11), formatting disks, adjusting BIOS settings, and installing drivers.
- Comfortable stripping down laptops, fitting memory, hard drives, and getting hands-on with components such as screen and keyboard replacement.
- Confident in troubleshooting typical IT problems like failed boots, faulty accessories, or misbehaving hardware.
- Ability to work on your feet all day in a fast-paced youthful environment.
- Prior experience working at a computer repair company or in a similar role.
- Confident using email and live chat to communicate with customers.
- Happy to answer the phone and help out if a customer’s in need.
About You:
You’re probably someone who loves gaming, hardware, or fixing up machines for fun. Maybe you’ve repaired your mates’ laptops, built your own PC, or just love to tinker. We’re not fussy about qualifications - you don’t need a degree or shiny GCSEs. What you do need is curiosity, a good work ethic, and the ability to explain things clearly (especially to non-techie customers).

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday (Overtime available at double time throughout the year) 1 Hour lunch break or 30 minutes and 2 x 15 minute breaks.
Holiday: 20 Days + bank holidays (also your birthday off)
