Salary: £42,000–£46,000 DOE + up to 10% bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Are you passionate about quality and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a driven Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at a well-established food manufacturing site in Droitwich. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality systems, support operational excellence, and help shape the future of our quality culture.

The Role:

You will oversee the site’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards and external audits while driving continuous improvement across the operation. You'll act as a key player in quality leadership, laboratory management, audit readiness, and supplier/customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the site QMS to support operational and product excellence
  • Identify and deliver CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives across the site
  • Manage laboratory and quality control processes
  • Own internal and external audit processes, including BRC compliance
  • Support operations teams with training and process confirmation
  • Ensure timely and accurate quality reporting (Quality Index, monthly KPIs)
  • Foster a proactive approach to identifying and eliminating waste
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure shared quality objectives
  • Maintain robust supplier and customer quality relationships

  • Experience in a similar role (e.g., QA Manager or Technical Coordinator)
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing quality systems and retailer codes of practice
  • Advanced food hygiene and strong understanding of microbiology
