We’re looking for a progressive, commercially astute individual with capital markets exposure and a strong technical foundation—ideally trained at a Big 4 firm like EY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the group FP&A function: lead all budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic insight.
- Partner directly with C-suite & investors, acting as the right hand to the CFO on board reporting, investor relations, and capital strategy.
- Design and build scalable processes, including dashboards and financial models focused on SaaS KPIs (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn).
- Support IPO preparation, including S-1 readiness, audit interface, and establishing public-market-ready reporting structures.
- Lead scenario planning, funding strategy & capital allocation models aligned to business performance and valuation growth.
- Drive performance management across all departments through commercial finance business partnering and KPI alignment.
- Develop investor-grade board packs, cash flow forecasts, cohort analysis, and pipeline-to-revenue conversion models.
- Mentor and scale a high-calibre FP&A team, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and accountability.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- ACA/ICAEW qualified (Big 4-trained strongly preferred).
- Significant experience in PE-backed or VC-backed SaaS/tech environments.
- Strong grasp of capital markets, ideally with exposure to IPO or exit planning.
- Hands-on and strategic; thrives in fast-paced, high-change businesses.
- Commercially sharp, emotionally intelligent, and naturally collaborative.
