We have a fantastic, brand-new opportunity for a Parts Manager role for a National Forklift supplier based in Berkshire. This business prides itself on having a friendly, supportive culture with opportunities for training and progression. They offer an attractive salary package, Circa to £34k to £35k, which includes full training, a standard 40-hour week with overtime paid at time and a half.

As a Parts Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end running of the parts department, ensuring the timely supply of parts to Field Service and Workshop Engineers. Your focus will be on optimising stock control, supplier management, team leadership, and process improvements - all while keeping costs in check and customer satisfaction high.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory accuracy and perform regular stock audits
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of parts
  • Build and negotiate with a strong supplier network
  • Lead and develop a dedicated parts team
  • Support workshop and field teams with prompt parts supply
  • Monitor KPIs and produce data-driven reports
  • Enhance the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) process through bolt-on procurement
  • Drive efficiency and implement continuous improvements across all operations
