CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Goods in Operative. Reporting directly to the Goods inwards supervisor, the purpose of this role is to provide and deliver the best value & quality service to our clients. Completing duties to the CBRE standard operating procedures and site specifications as required in the Office operation function, which includes support to customers, clients, business functions or an individual contributor.

Responsibilities and daily activities:

  • Ensure safe working practices through Health & Safety standards.
  • Assist goods inwards supervisor as requested or required.
  • Ensure all work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, following company procedures for holidays and sickness for you and your team members.
  • Meet company expectations in relation to conduct and performance.
  • Complete your work schedule.
  • Emails are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Perform your duties to a good standard.
  • As part of the goods inwards team, you must pass the Mondelez FLT license test.
  • Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct areas and any defects reported to your supervisor and owner of the delivery.
  • Undertake any training your supervisor/managers seem necessary to enhance delivery standards & performance.
  • Ensure you & your team complete the below, if deadlines they need to be achieved:
  • eLearning
  • FLT training
  • Internal & external couriers
  • TNT process
  • Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Using Apps such as word, excel and Outlook.
    • Using FLT.
    • Check deliveries for damage/contraband.
    • Keeping goods inward tidy.
    • Segregating deliveries.
    • Track inventory and manage stocks.
    • Provide, manage, and organize stationary & stock levels.
    • Perform workplace inspections monthly.
    • Attend meetings if required.

    • Ability to communicate.
    • Flexible.
    • Team orientated.
