VIVO Defence Services is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Decorator Painter to join our dedicated team, enhancing Married Family Housing (MFH) across RAF Lakenheath, Feltwell, and Mildenhall. As part of a forward-facing, client-focused team, your work will directly impact the comfort and wellbeing of military families. From freshening interiors to adding those final professional flourishes, you'll be at the heart of something meaningful - delivering quality in every brushstroke.
About the role:
- You will be responsible for painting vacant MFH homes to a high standard, both internally and externally.
- The role includes working from access equipment and ensuring all surfaces are properly prepared before painting. This includes washing walls, repairing holes, removing old paint, and applying a professional finish.
- You will also be expected to maintain a clean and protected work area, communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and occasionally apply decorative or faux finishes as needed.
- Your ability to represent VIVO with professionalism and to support our core values will be essential.
- You will be working within teams of 2 to 3 dependent on property size with all your work scheduled for you and delivered by tablet by our scheduling team.
What You'll Need:
- You should have experience in painting and decorating to a high standard in provided time scales, though full training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude are essential.
- A full UK driving licence is required for you to travel to the required site in your provided work van.
