We are seeking a devoted ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistant to join one of our most flourishing schools in East London. As an ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistant, you will support children diagnosed with ASD and ADHD within a Secondary School setting.

Ideal Candidate:
- Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies.
- Extensive SLD/ASD/PMLD & Complex needs experience preferred.
- Supervising and supporting a classroom in a group setting.
- Supporting with behaviour management.
- Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals.
- Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model.
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting differences and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
- Some knowledge of strategies for working with young people with challenging behaviours.
- Safeguarding experience.
- Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
