Candidate Requirements
- Use CAD/CAM software to create models and programmes of master parts for the manufacturing of tablet compression tooling.
- Manufacture parts based on master tablet tooling designs and drawings.
- Operate die mould CNC milling machines.
- Perform inspection and visual validation using various measuring equipment and vision systems, including micrometers, Vernier calipers, bench clocks, contour tracers, shadow graphs, and digital cameras.
- Finish and polish detailed embossing and features to high accuracy, meeting manufacturing specifications.
- Complete process checks and update schedules using applications within Microsoft 360.
- Support downstream engineering processes and other machining operations as required.
Working Hours and Compensation
- Hours: AM/PM shifts, 6 am - 2 pm / 2 pm - 10 pm, rotating, with occasional Saturday overtime paid at overtime rates.
- Pay: From £12.72 per hour plus an 18% shift premium, totaling £15.01 per hour. Overtime is available but not guaranteed.
- Type: Full-time, 39 hours per week. Profit-related pay is additional.
