Do you have a passion for Landscaping and Horticulture? We have an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity in the Slough & Heathrow Airport area, working with experienced colleagues to carry out grounds maintenance to required specifications for one of our prestigious social housing partners.
You will be working 37.5 hours a week (ranging between 7am - 3:30pm), working with us 4 days a week and from September 2025, start to attend college 1 day a week to study for level 2 in Horticulture, a course designed for those that are new to horticulture or have basic knowledge and skills. A full Manual UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.
Duties during the 4 days will include:
- Use of petrol driven equipment for Lawn Cutting & Hedge Pruning
- Weeding and bed maintenance of existing borders
- Shrub pruning as required
- Litter Picking & Sweeping
- Continuous development throughout the apprenticeship programme
We will provide in-house training covering Risk Assessment, PPE, Use of machinery, basic maintenance and safety checks.
