Scale 6-7, currently £33,476 to £37,659 per annum, pro rata - £23.18 to £26.07 for teaching rate; £17.17 to £19.31 non-teaching rate.

We are a residential college set in six acres of grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham, occupying a former Cadbury family home. Founded over a century ago to provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged and excluded members of society, our mission of social justice remains central today.

We seek to appoint a Maths Tutor responsible for planning and delivering college Maths courses across various levels. The role involves curriculum development and collaboration with staff to ensure an excellent learner experience from assessment to progression.
Applicants should have a relevant degree or professional qualification in Maths, a recognised teaching qualification, and ideally awareness of Functional Skills strategies and qualifications. Effective communication, administrative, and IT skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working at a fast pace, be self-managed with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a completion-oriented approach.
