We’re expanding our regional mobile teams and seeking experienced installers to carry out a 50:50 split of solar panel installations and aftercare. This role offers consistent CIS solar installation work across the South West, with a mix of new builds, upgrades and ongoing maintenance – perfect for those who want to contribute to the UK’s shift toward clean, independent energy.
Your Responsibilities
- Installing solar PV systems on rooftops
- Diagnosing system faults and underperformance
- Repairing and upgrading older solar setups
- Performing inverter swaps, cabling checks, and DC testing
- Supporting energy independence for homeowners
- Working solo or with a small regional team
You’ll Need
- Previous experience as a solar panel installer or solar technician
- Ability to work on pitched rooftops safely
- Familiarity with solar system components (inverters, isolators, wiring)
- Comfortable with fault finding, remedial work, and testing
- CSCS card or equivalent (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence, own tools and PPE
- Public liability insurance (if subcontracting under CIS)
