We are recruiting for passionate Event Security Officers to work with us across our 5-star Hotels client events in London and surrounding areas. The Event Security Officer works as a vital part of the MT Classic Business UK Ltd security teams. Deployed to award ceremonies, weddings, family parties, auctions, birthday parties, and more, all Security Operatives must be able to adapt to the demands of each event.
Relevant candidates must have the below to be suitable:
- SIA Licence
- Must have 2 years previous experience in security

- Salary: From £9.50 – £12.50 per hour
- Job Type: Part-time or Full-time position
- Location: London and surrounding area
Main Duties of Event Security Officer:
- Present a clean, smart, professional image at all times (uniform requirements: black suit, white shirt, black tie, black lace-up shoes).
- Monitor and control event entrances.
- Monitor and report any problems connected with the safety of event visitors.
- Patrol the event area regularly, ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded.
- Ensure safe passage of people taking part in the organization of the event.
- Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures.
- Provide secure storage for guests' oversized items.
- Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents.
- Manage undesirable behavior professionally, intervening and defusing potential altercations.
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.
Qualifications:
- Value SIA Door Supervisor
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgment and a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
- A full three-year checkable employment history
