PW Construction Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for our award-winning M&E client based in Gillingham, this role will be covering sites over the South East.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site activities for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures, conducting regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets the required standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure strong safety culture on site, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Reporting and keeping the Project Manager updated on the progress on site.
The ideal candidate will be:
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering
- City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience as a Site Manager
- Experience working on commercial projects, ideally schools
- High Level of Health and Safety awareness.
