Electrical Design Engineers Dungannon. Salary is open to negotiation and dependent on experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead development of electrical drawings, schematics and accurate BOM for Electrical Components.
- Create technical documentation including work instructions, parts list, list of critical parts and maintenance components.
- Provide mentoring and technical direction to development, helping to identify technical solutions to realise design.
- Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators.
- Working on R&D projects to expand the current product range and bring new products to the market.
- Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Any other duties as required by the Line Manager to suit business needs.
- Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Role Requirements:
- Must have an HND or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant working engineering experience.
- A minimum of 5 years postgraduate work experience in a similar design role.
- Experience in schematics and software programming design using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN.
- Ability to read and create detailed electrical drawings.
- Detailed knowledge of current regulations and electrical design standards.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team.
- Must have good technical drawing skills.
- Must have experience of drafting to electrical standards.
