We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing school community in Walsall. This full-time role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to a tailored and supportive learning environment.

Key Duties

  • Individualised Support: Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, adapting learning materials to meet their needs.
  • Behaviour Management: Assist in managing and supporting positive behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Learning Environment: Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes students’ academic and personal development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement and review individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers about student progress and needs.
