Part-time QTS Tutor

Location: Barnet, North London
Pay Rate: 25- 30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time After-School & Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver engaging and targeted tuition in Maths, English or Science at KS3-GCSE level.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and academic goals.
• Build strong rapport with students to boost confidence and performance.
• Track progress and provide regular updates to parents, carers, or schools.
• Adjust teaching approaches for learners with SEN, or additional support needs.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- essential.
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in a secondary school setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Desired:

• Experience working with students who have SEN.
