Fleet Education Services is a long standing tuition provider that delivers one-to-one and small group tuition to learners, supporting schools and local authorities. We are looking for passionate GCSE tutors (English, Maths, or Science) to help learners within and around Bicester through 1:1 tuition.

About Us

Fleet Education Services delivers outstanding alternative and supplementary education to learners of various ages and backgrounds. We aim to provide exceptional educational support for young learners across the UK, with the backing of our Tuition Consultants.

Your Role

• Design personalised GCSE level Maths, English, or Science lessons that engage learners and support progress.
• Deliver tuition sessions in learner settings such as their homes, schools, or local libraries (in-person tuition only).
• Regularly monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians and schools to ensure learner engagement.
• Maintain accurate session records through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements for Our GCSE Tutors

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• QTS preferred, but not essential. SEN experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• 2 references related to your work in education – covering the last 2 years of employment.
• Enhanced DBS check (Can be obtained through Fleet if required at a cost).
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.

Notes

• When registering as a Tutor with Fleet you will be listed as an Agency Worker, and hours are not guaranteed.
• You will work through a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
• Tuition placements are covered by our insurance.
• Shortlisted candidates will complete our safeguarding process designed with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
• This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position.
