What You'll Do
- As Payroll Operations Lead, you'll take full ownership of payroll processing across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
- Your expertise will ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with legal and tax obligations.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for both NI and ROI, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Authorise payroll payments (BACs/SEPA) and oversee submissions to HMRC and Irish Revenue.
- Collaborate with HR, Rewards, and external consultants on system upgrades, data changes, and project delivery.
- Reconcile payroll journals, prepare balance sheet entries, and manage internal reporting.
- Lead on year-end reporting, benefit-in-kind (BIK) processing, and share-related payroll reporting.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries, fostering employee trust and satisfaction.
- Contribute to financial planning through insightful payroll analysis and reporting.
