AC Automation is seeking a talented and motivated Junior PLC SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, as well as smart network configurations. This is a full-time office/on-site role in Belfast and Carrickfergus.
Key Responsibilities- PLC programming for Allen Bradley and/or Siemens systems
- SCADA programming and network interfacing
- Configuration and management of smart networks and IT systems
- Integration of Ethernet/fibre network engineering
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in PLC programming
- Strong logical problem-solving skills
- Full driver's license
- Experience with SCADA programming
- Knowledge of Ethernet and fibre network engineering
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs
- Background in electrical engineering
- Professional membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
