At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose to improve people's lives. Part time Administrative Assistant / Personal Advisor required for four hours per week to support a member of the Children’s Social Care Senior Management Team with admin tasks. This would suit a part time member of staff looking to slightly increase their hours.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Diary management and arranging meetings
  • Supporting with data reporting
  • Helping with policy research and updates
  • Organise and minute meetings, ensuring key actions are followed up
  • Liaise with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders
  • Assist with project coordination and implementation of service improvements
  • Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:

  • Previous experience in administration or PA roles, ideally within social care or a similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with professionals at all levels
  • Strong organizational abilities with the flexibility to manage changing priorities
  • Discretion and professionalism, handling sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and case management software
