An established healthcare manufacturer is looking to recruit an Industrialisation Engineer to support the transition of new products from design to full-scale production. This hands-on, cross-functional role offers the opportunity to work across engineering, R&D, and manufacturing functions to ensure new medical devices are delivered to market efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Manage all design transfer activities from concept to production
- Support the development and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver production-ready solutions
- Prepare and maintain quality and technical documentation in line with regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
Essential Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or related discipline
- Experience in a similar manufacturing or industrialisation role
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience:
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485 or other regulated environments
- Experience with automation, robotics, web handling, or polymer processing
- Hands-on experience in process validation and capability studies
- Background in sourcing and commissioning production equipment
