As they continue to grow and innovate, they are looking for a skilled Solar PV Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing high-performance solar energy systems for both commercial and residential clients.
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Designer with at least 2 years of experience in designing commercial systems. You will be proficient in all aspects of design—from rooftop layouts to electrical schematics. This is a hands-on role where you will design both commercial and domestic solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering high-quality designs tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop both commercial and domestic solar PV systems, including rooftop layouts, electrical designs, and schematics.
- Work closely with clients to understand their energy needs and design tailored systems to maximize energy production.
- Perform site assessments, shading analysis, load calculations, and optimize designs for performance and efficiency.
- Use design software such as PV Sol to create detailed system layouts and documentation.
- Coordinate with installation teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth execution and troubleshooting of designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in solar technology and refine design methodologies for improved performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience designing commercial Solar PV systems.
- Strong proficiency in designing solar PV systems, including rooftop design, electrical schematics, and system layouts.
- Experience with PV Sol or similar solar design software.
- Knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and best practices for both commercial and domestic PV systems.
