Job Title: Oracle ERP Systems Consultant Location: Remote role with occasional travel for stakeholder meetings Contract Type: Permanent Summary The Oracle ERP Systems Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, integration, and support of Oracle ERP Cloud solutions. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Oracle ERP capabilities with business needs, focusing on modules such as Financials, Procurement, Projects, and Budgeting. The role demands deep knowledge of Oracle ERP architecture, integration techniques, reporting frameworks, and cloud deployment strategies. Strong experience in system design, functional configuration, and stakeholder engagement is essential, particularly within enterprise or public sector environments. The consultant should also be comfortable working in Agile delivery settings, contributing to continuous improvement and optimization of ERP processes. Roles and Responsibilities Implement and configure Oracle ERP Cloud modules (Financials, Procurement, Projects, etc.) in line with business requirements. Design end-to-end Oracle ERP solutions, including business process mapping, configuration, testing, deployment, and support. Collaborate with finance, procurement, and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into ERP functionality. Lead or support data migration from legacy systems into Oracle ERP Cloud, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Manage user roles and security configurations in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Develop integration interfaces between Oracle ERP Cloud and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware tools. Configure and customize dashboards, reports, and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View. Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support to drive adoption and usage. Keep up to date with Oracle ERP product releases, emerging features, and industry best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending system enhancements and automation opportunities. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline. Oracle ERP Cloud certification (Financials or Procurement) preferred. Minimum of 4–6 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle ERP Cloud solutions. Proven experience in configuring Oracle ERP Cloud modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Procurement, and Project Financials. Proficient in Oracle ERP architecture, workflows, and integration approaches. Experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SQL, BI Publisher, and OTBI. Strong data migration experience and understanding of FBDI templates and data loading tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in or with the UK Public Sector is highly desirable. Agile/Scrum project delivery experience is an advantage.
