Working for a well-established engineering and fabrication company based in Bacup, specialising in the manufacturing of bowsers and commercial vehicle bodies. Due to ongoing growth, looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join our skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding and fabricating components for fuel and water bowsers
- General fabrication work including commercial body building and bespoke metalwork
- Working from technical drawings and schematics
- Cutting, bending, drilling, and assembling mild steel components
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of accuracy and finish
- Operating workshop equipment safely and efficiently
- Working both independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience in commercial body building is advantageous
- Good timekeeping and reliability
