GSL Education is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join secondary schools in Harlow. Your primary responsibility as a Maths Teacher will be to deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, create lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, and support students according to the school's key stages. This role also involves working closely with SEND students, providing one-to-one or small-group assistance. If you are a passionate Maths Teacher with prior experience, this is a great opportunity to inspire and guide young learners.

Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:
  • Teach Mathematics to students in secondary schools.
  • Create lesson plans and syllabus according to the national curriculum.
  • Deliver lessons in line with Key Stages.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including those with SEND needs.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Job Requirements for Maths Teacher:
  • QTS or PGCE, NQT, or ECT is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related education field.
  • Prior experience as a Maths Teacher is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and key stage requirements.
  • Experience supporting students with SEND needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
