South Territory - Covering the M4 Corridor
We are currently recruiting an experienced Curtain Fitter & Blind Fitter on behalf of a large multi-discipline commercial restoration business. They require a full-time Curtain & Blind Fitter for an immediate start to cover the South Territory, which includes the M4 Motorway Corridor and the south of the UK. The role may also suit a Maintenance Technician, Carpenter, Joiner, Builder, Installer, Handy Person, Upholsterer, or general Building and Maintenance Installer with experience in installing curtains and blinds.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and erecting curtains, blinds, track, and pole systems in residential homes. You will also manage route planning and liaise with customers to ensure high-quality customer service at all times.
The position offers significant overtime opportunities, allowing fitters to earn above and beyond the basic salary, with average earnings between GBP40,000 and GBP50,000.
This role is suitable for experienced Curtain Fitters, Maintenance Technicians, Carpenters, Builders, Upholsterers, Joiners, or other tradespeople interested in full-time work.
Curtain Fitter Responsibilities:- Fitting curtains, curtain poles, track systems, and blinds in customers' homes
- Managing your van and stock to ensure you have the correct materials on site
- Occasional travel away from home, with accommodation and overtime paid for by the company
- Previous experience installing curtains, blinds, tracks, and poles
- Basic carpentry skills for building and fitting pelmet boxes and boards
- Own vehicle for travel to work locations (mileage reimbursed)
- Friendly, outgoing personality with good communication skills
- Good self-management and organization of client documentation and paperwork
